Granular Access Control

The SRAC Server supports the application of a certificate’s extension field.  Based on different departments in a corporation, this provides a hierarchical secure access control, which can pinpoint a single server’s TCP/IP port. This fine granular access control ensures the security of enterprise business data.

• Access can be controlled according to groups.  An administrator can import groups from an EverLink CA Server, making unified administration a reality,

• User information is retrieved from the user’s certificate, so that there is no need to save this information locally and synchronize local user databases,

• Very easy to configure, yet access control can be specified down to a single server’s TCP/IP port.

Browser/server Structure

Based entirely on Java applet technology, there is no need for users to install any client software.  Given the requirements of different security levels, a user can choose to read certificates from IE^™ or Netscape’s^™ certificate database, or from hardware devices such as smart cards.
