CITY OF
INDUSTRY, California -- October 16, 1998 --
Anyware Technology, the company that introduced the
concept of a personal Virtual Private Network,
today announced the addition of three new key personnel.
The new hires have been made to support the companys
rapid growth due to the success of its secure remote
access and communications software product, the EverLink
Suite. Joining the company are Jonathan Page as director
of channel sales, Juan Lopez as telemarketing account
manager, and Anaida Navasardyan as quality assurance
engineer.
Jonathan Page, Anyware
Technologys new director of channel sales, is
responsible for developing the companys Channel
Partner Program and VAR relationships. Mr. Page brings
over ten years of comprehensive sales management and
high technology expertise to the organization. He has
consistently provided extensive growth and profitability
to companies throughout his career. Most recently, he
was the Western Regional Sales Manager for Datatech
Enterprises, where he generated significant growth of
the companys VAR network and sales volume, and
developed key government and private accounts including
the Department of the Navy, Chevron, Blue Cross/Blue
Shield and Nordstrom. Mr. Page holds a BA in Psychology
from California State University, Fullerton, and is
working toward an MS in Systems Management from the
University of Southern California.
As telemarketing account
manager, Juan Lopez is responsible for qualifying leads,
which will then be passed on to Channel Partners for
follow-up as part of Anyware Technologys Channel
Partner Program. He comes to Anyware Technology directly
from Xerox Corporation, where he oversaw sales and promotion
for the full range of Xerox products. His experience
at Xerox included developing and executing account strategies
and managing the sales process from initial call to
100% customer satisfaction. Mr. Lopez holds a BA in
Management from New Mexico Highlands University.
Quality assurance engineer
Anaida Navasardyan will oversee management of the rigid
quality assurance standards for Anyware Technologys
software products. She has over nine years of quality
assurance experience for both hardware and software
products. Most recently as Senior Quality Assurance
Analyst for CyberMedia Inc., she was responsible for
testing of a wide array of domestic and international
software products. Prior to that, she served as Quality
Assurance Supervisor for five years at Magnetic Sensor
Systems. Ms. Navasardyan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering
from Polytechnical University in Armenia, and a Computer
Programming diploma from the Institute of Computer Technology.
"We are very pleased
to be able to attract such high-quality talent to Anyware
Technology," said Glenn Hunter, vice president
